DETAILED ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport-Kampala

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our guide who will then take you to  hotel in Kampala for an overnight and dinner.

 

OVERNIGHT: BOMA HOTEL KAMPALA

Day 2: Fly to bwindi (Flying Time +1hrs)

Our guide/driver picks you from your hotel or place of residence in Entebbe or Kampala.  Drive head to Kajjansi airstrip where you will aboard Aero link to Kisoro at Kahihi airstrip. The 9 hour journey on road gets done in just one and half hours. Have beautiful views of the amazing landscape and thick lush that lies below.
On arrival at Kihihi airstrip, be picked by our experienced driver guide who will transfer you to the lodge for check in and then visit the Batwa community. Experience how they used to hunt in the bush using the arrow and bow, visit the community’s shrines and also taste the local cuisines of these ancient people, Also engage in the in the traditional dance and songs performed here.  Dinner and overnight stay at your Lodge.

Day 3: Bwindi Gorilla Trekking

Begin the day with breakfast ready for trekking, which begins at 8:00 am with a briefing from the UWA staff. Ensure to carry along with you rain jacket, drinking water, snacks, jungle boots etc The guides will lead you inside the jungle to see the shy Primates for a group you have been booked for. Do not forget to take your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The tracking may take between 2 and 6 hours but it’s well worth the effort. The afternoon is spent on a Leisure arounf the Lodge. . Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge

OVERNIGHT: SIVERBACK LODGE

Day 4: Bwindi-Kampala (Flight Time +1hrs)

In the morning have an early breakfast and then fly back to Entebbe to catch up with the flight back home.
