CLASSIC UGANDA SAFARIS

This CLASSIC UGANDA SAFARIS the perfect way to explore and discover the wildness and wildlife experience of Uganda; The journey takes you to western Ugandan among thick forests and lush Savannah grasslands home to various species of wild animals.

Day 1: Kampala  –  Murchison falls National Park.

Early breakfast  and your guide will be waiting to pick you up and begin our safari experience transversing various regions within Uganda wild parks. Lunch will be enroute,  as you enjoy the lovely Uganda countryside, arrive in time at the park and proceed to the top of the falls for a remarkable sight and sound of the Nile crushing through the chasm. Dinner and overnight stay at either Sambiya River Safari Lodge, Red chilli or Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 2: Game drive and Launch cruise.

Enjoy your morning with a cup of Ugandan coffee and epart for your a.m game drive within the expansive park, keep your eyes open and cameras ready as you search for the Uganda kob, giraffes, Leopards among other animals that can be found. After fews our on a game drive return to the lodge for breakfast and rest. Later have lunch and transfer for a boat cruise on the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the falls where you’ll be expected to see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and numerous bird species like kingfishers, rare shoebills among others. Dinner and overnight stay at either Sambiya River Safari Lodge, Red chilli or Paraa Safari Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park.

Morning breakfast and depart for Kibale forest National Park. Lunch en route in Fort Portal and proceed in the view of the Rwenzori Mountains. A guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetland sanctuary to see various bird species, butterflies and primates. Dinner and overnight stay at Bigodi.

Day 4: Chimpanzee tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth.
Enjoy your breakfast and head for chimpanzee tracking and other primates like the Red, Black and white colobus monkeys, Red-tailed monkeys plus a sight of some birds like the African pitas, Red-faced woodland warbler, Blue-headed sunbird and many more. Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park after lunch. Go for an evening game drive around the park for a variety of wildlife species. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge.

Day 5: Nature walk and Boat cruise.

Breakfast in the morning and visit the Maramagambo forest hoping to see different bird species, chimpanzee, other primates and the python caves. After lunch head for a boat ride along the Kazinga channel expecting to see crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, Topis, birds like Corncrake, African skimmer, Marital eagle among others. Overnight stay at Mweya Safari Lodge / Enganzi Lodge.

Day 6: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.

After breakfast, you will transfer to Bwindi through Ishasha to view the tree-climbing Lions. Lunch at Ishasha wilderness Camp; visit the Ishasha River for bushbucks, hippos, crocodile and the green vegetation. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Homesteads or Gorilla Forest camp.

Day 7: Gorilla tracking and Nature walk.

A cup of tea and go the park headquarters to be briefed about the “dos and don’ts” when with the gorilla. After tracking, go back to the lodge for breakfast and rest. After lunch visit the Buhoma community to see the Batwa people, their cultural performances, traditional healers and brewers. Dinner and overnight stay at either Buhoma Homesteads or Gorilla Forest camp.

Day 8: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park.

Breakfast and drive to Lake Mburo National Park through the gorgeous scenery of Kabale. Go for a boat cruise after lunch expecting to see Impalas, zebra, crocodiles, Eland among other savanna species. Dinner and overnight stay at either Mantana Tented Camp, Rwonyo Rest Camp or Mihingo lodge.

Day 9: Game drive and Transfer to Kampala.

Take a cup of coffee and leave for the morning game drive to see zebras, Buffaloes, Impalas, Topis, Warthogs and different bird species. Return to the lodge for lunch and transfer to Kampala. Lunch en route in Mbarara and a stopover at the equator for photography. Dinner and overnight stay at either Serena Hotel, Tourist Hotel or Cassia lodge.

Day 10: Drive to Uganda wildlife Education Centre or Airport.

Have breakfast in the morning head to Entebbe Uganda wildlife Education Centre for a variety of wildlife species and birds or transfer to the Airport for your flight back home.
